Beach Time

It was decided. A night of beach casting fishing was needed and a spot just round the corner had been recommended.

Apparently there was a gate at the beech which gets locked at 8pm each night so when we arrive at the spot and could not find the gate which was going to strand us in the carpark for the night we assumed we were at the wrong point. So the search for the gate started.

We found the most likely track to contain the gate and headed off (lets put the emphases on "track".) This was a track only a 4 wheel drive could get up and even with this we only just made it. As we continued that it dawned on us that this was not likely to be a general track used by many people so we were now in search of an unknow, untouched fishing spot.

After parking the car in a sort of parking space - a space between a tree and a big patch of bushes - we climbed down the cliff on to the beach. We had a good nigh where one fish was caught and a pot full of cockles so q Ray Mears. The fish in a news paper actually works.

Nights like this cant be beaten so hopefuly there will be many more to come.
