Picton & the south

I have just arrived in Picton on the south island. The 3 hour ferry trip over felt just like going on holiday so very excited. On arrival it was obvious that the south island is going to be very different. As the ferry wound its way in though the islands making up the sounds you got a glimpse of the clear waters and the sandy beaches - this is going to be goooood.
